It's been a while since I've updated this little space of mine, but I'm excited to be making my return. I recently started a second job at a beautiful local boutique, and though I've been working almost seven days a week for the past two months, I'm left feeling more satisfied than exhausted. The only true downside is not being able to pursue blogging the way I once could, but I'm attempting to find ways around that.
In our wardrobe arsenals, we all need something for those Monday mornings when oversleeping (or hitting snooze a few too many times) is on the agenda. This jumpsuit is a chambray dream come true, ideal for when I can't be bothered to think too much about what to wear but still want to feel pulled together. Because of the lightweight fabric and timeless silhouette, I know it will be a staple that will carry me through spring and into summer. Oh, and it's on sale!
I have no idea what I did before this perfect Shinola carry-all came into my life. It's already come in handy (pun intended) several times this past week when I found myself at a photoshoot and crossing town via public transportation on multiple occasions. I've found I can fit my entire life in this bag, including shoes and a change of clothes, and it looks perfectly unstructured when only filled with the essentials. The leather is so supple, and it actually carried a whiff of "new car scent" when I first opened the package. It's way more refined than a tote bag, and I can't wait to use it as a carry-on for my NYC excursion next month.
My lovely friend Jamie snapped these yesterday morning before a little coffee date. I'm so fortunate to have made such sweet, talented friends; she is truly something special.
