set the city ablaze

It's no secret that I prefer to dress in neutrals, but these days, despite the summertime heat, no outfit feels quite right unless it's comprised of black and shades of gray. When I came across this lightweight romper in the perfect smoky hue, I knew it would quickly become a staple. Since purchasing it last month, I've found myself reaching for it on countless occasions. For me, it's the perfect choice for everything, from attending parties to working markets with Melting Sun Apparel to going out on the town with friends. Rompers offer that perfect balance between dressed-up and casual, and I can't get enough of them this summer. While I don't often wear belts, this cool concho belt found me by way of my dear friend Jess, and I love how it adds a bit of life and texture to the ensemble. Of course, I couldn't resist throwing my favorite hat (affectionately described as "amish hipster" by my photographer) and worn-in boots into the equation.

Life has been wild lately, but I'm attempting to get back into the swing of things, especially when it comes to this space. I'm looking forward to sharing all I've been up to, like working with up-and-coming brands, collaborations with talented photographers, and making unbelievably creative new friends. I hope to be a regular face/voice around these parts once again, and I'm so grateful you're along for the ride.
